  • Sydney Opera House: One of the world’s most iconic architectural wonders, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. It is a renowned symbol of both Australia and the city of Sydney.
  • Sydney Harbour Bridge: Completed in 1932, it still holds the record as the largest steel arch bridge in the world. Its iconic shape resembles a giant coat hanger.

Elizabeth was known for her compassion, teaching female convicts and Aboriginal people farming skills. She loved watching ships in the harbour and often sat on a large rock. In 1810, her husband had convicts carve a sandstone bench for her comfort. Today, this “chair” is a well-known historical landmark in Sydney.
