This 4 Days 3 Nights tour will take you to the capital and largest city of Laos. Situated on the banks of the Mekong River at the Thai border. Vientiane served as the administrative center during French rule and retains colonial-era architecture alongside Buddhist landmarks such as Pha That Luang, a national symbol of Buddhism, and Haw Phra Kaew.
On arrival at the Vientiane Capital, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Vientiane is a charming and fascinating capital, with an interesting mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, and American influences.

After breakfast, we start visiting the major sights of the capital:
Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. Enroute to Lao’s national precious heritage, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.
Afternoon, transfer out to visit Buddha Park with thousands of Buddha Statues inspired by Hindu culture. On the way back, we visit Mrs. Carol Cassidy Weaving Studio. If we come before 3:30pm, we can see the local artisans working on their daily routine to create handicraft products. Take a tour around the studio and learn more about the culture of weaving in Laos.
Mrs. Carol Cassidy arrived in Laos in 1989, as a textile expert with the United Nations Development Programme. Lao Textiles was founded in 1990. Specializing in 100 percent hand-woven silk, Carol and the 40 Lao artisans produce exquisitely crafted wall hangings, scarves, shawls and custom furnishing fabric.
